If you already own a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably, measuring its inside diameter is one of the easiest ways to estimate your ring size.

Choose a ring that fits the same finger you want to measure.
Place the ring flat on a ruler.
Measure straight across the inside center of the ring.
Measure only the inside opening — do not include the metal edges.
Record the diameter in millimeters.
Compare the measurement with the ring size chart below.

Wrap the measuring tape or paper around the base of your finger.

Mark the point where the ends meet.
